Anabaptist Financial

IRA Investors

Anabaptist Financial is able to accept IRA investments from investors who establish an account with an independent IRA custodian. GoldStar Trust Company (GoldStar) is an IRA custodian that Anabaptist Financial has developed a working relationship with and who is able to place IRA investments in our investment and loans pool.

Anabaptist Financial does not provide any tax advice or custodial services relating to IRA investments. All responsibility for establishing and maintaining an IRA account with GoldStar rests with the individual investor. Anabaptist Financial recommends that you consult with your tax accountant if you have questions relating to your specific IRA needs.

Anabaptist Financial will pay interest on the amount invested, as well as any interest that is added to the investor’s account at a variable rate equal to the six-month Treasury bill plus 1.5 percent (adjusted to the nearest 1/8 of one percent). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the interest rate payable with respect to each 60-Day Security shall not (i) at any time be less than three and one-half percent (3.50%) or (ii) increase or decrease by more than one-half of one percent (0.50%) in any calendar quarter, except in the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the Organization.

For Anabaptist Financial clients, GoldStar charges an annual maintenance fee of $40 for accounts under $100,000 (or 4 basis points [0.0004] of total market value for accounts over $100,000). Information about establishing an IRA account with GoldStar can be found on their website at http://www.goldstartrust.com/Services/SDIRAs.aspx, or by calling the Anabaptist Financial office.
