Educational Resources for Church Leaders & Financial Committees
Providing stewardship education consistent with conservative Anabaptist beliefs and values.
Deacon Seminars
Our church groups believe in offering counsel and support to members who struggle financially. Deacons and other individuals are asked to serve as financial counselors, advisors, or trustees. Helping a struggling brother or family in this way Is an act of service, but often the problems are challenging and complex. Personal, financial, and spiritual issues are usually mixed together. This seminar provides encouragement, teaching, and basic training for those who care called to help others.
NOTE: This seminar is for those who work with and help other people with financial difficulties, including bishops, minsters, and deacons, as well as those who serve on a trustee committee or as a financial advisor. Spouses are also welcome. It is not designed for individuals in our church communities who are personally struggling with finances.
Deacon Resources
The local church is responsible to support those who struggle financially, while also providing guidance for those in prosperity. AF provides these resources to assist church leaders and financial committees in this calling. Our church leader and financial committee resources include written and audio materials, and a variety of budgeting tools. These resources supplement our Deacon and Trustee Seminars.
